What a great spectacle for those who ventured out to the Dublin Even XC championships at the hugely impressive National Sports Campus facility in Abbotstown, West Dublin. The event was also the curtain raiser for the Autumn Open Cross Country Festival. The course was set up hard but fair with underfoot conditions challenging and in particular down at the far end of the course where the long drag back up was accompanied with typical XC terrain!! In the middle of it all, it was another fine day for our athletes. Autumn and the XC season are well and truly here….

Congratulations to Sarah Healy (U16 girls) on a masterful display and taking yet another Dublin title. Read more

Comments Off on League 2 & Schools round up Uncategorized

The club had a great turn out for League 2 in the Phoenix Park. Well done to all our athletes and we had some notable performances/ Top 5 finishes from Jordan Mynes (1st U14), Oisin Kelly (3rd U16), Evan Walshe (5th U15) & Holly O’Brien 5th in the girls U10’s. Next up is the Dublin Juvenile Even Age Championships which take place this weekend in Abbotstown. (See separate article on arrangements etc)

Congratulations to Hannah O’Brien (Carysfort NS) who won the 5th Class girls race in Santry on Wednesday last. This event, Brother at your Side, had a record number of Primary/ Secondary school athletes this year and once again well done to all our athletes who were representing their schools on the day.

We are well and truly in the “XC Season”
