AmyRose takes Dublin U16 title whilst our younger teams score highly (Including Photos)

Well done to all our athletes who performed extremely well on a demanding Phoenix Park course in the Dublin Even age groups yesterday. In a break from previous course lay outs, this year saw the introduction of the very demanding 2000m loop for some of the younger age groups.

Congratulations to AmyRose Farrell who was a stand out winner of the girls U16 4k race making her decisive break on the second lap and winning out convincingly. Libby O’Gorman was a strong 2nd place in the girls U10’s with Sean O’Riagain equally impressive finishing in 4th place in the Boys U10’s whilst Simone (6th) and Issy (12th) led home the girls U12 team. Louis Dignam and Doug Walshe were the to the fore in the boys U12 race also finishing in the Top 12 whilst Sarah Flaherty was running in the girls U14 race.

Our Teams did remarkably well in securing four Top 3 finishes and a full list is as follows:

Well done to the four teams and also the individual athletes who finished in the Top 12. The Girls & Boys U12 teams and AmyRose will now go on to represent BAC at the Nationals in Santry on Sunday 22nd November.
