Blackrock A.C. Invitational Sports Day – Sun 01 June 2014
Summer officially starts here in Carysfort Park with our Invitational Sports Day!
Athletes from Bray Runners and Cabinteely Athletic Club will be participating on the day;
Program Change: by popular demand Relays have been re-instated in the program! There will also be an Adult 800m Racesponsored by Blackrock A.C. Fit4Life section and open to ALL adults: over 18’s, Fit4Life Athletes and Senior Men & Women – join in, it’s not just a spectator sport!
HELP!!! We will need lots of help run the event!
It promises to be a great day but only with your help!;
We have many volunteers already but still need help mainly with Registrations, Long Jump and Catering (help with organising and distributing refreshments).
Special call to our Master Bakers: ALL offers of home-baked goodies, flap-jacks, brownies, rice krispy buns etc. are most, most welcome! Our athletes will need lots of fuel to keep them going as they burst through the sound barrier … and sure you couldn’t just have the spectators watchin’ them ate!
