Following on from our recent Run For Ukraine, which raised much-needed humanitarian funds for people on the ground there, Blackrock A.C. man Igor is collecting non-perishable food and toiletry items. These items are going directly to the United Ukraine shelter in Chernivtsi, which hosted Igor’s parents-in-law as they fled Ukraine towards Romania.

Hi Blackrock A.C. members and friends!

We’re now collecting donations of non-perishable food & toiletries which will be delivered to the shelter “United Ukraine” in Chernivtsi. It’s the shelter that hosted Olga (my wife’s) parents as they fled Ukraine through the Romanian border. The items most needed that we’re accepting are:

– Pasta
– Flour
– Sugar
– Toiletries/ personal hygiene items
– Canned fish (tuna, mackerel etc)
– Nuts
– Grains
– Olive oil
– Nut butter
– Dried fruit
– Crackers/protein bars
