Fit4life / Senior Men Update November 2017 Gerry Flaherty

Run in the Dark 2017

Fit4life / Senior Men had a good representation at the recent Run in the Dark 5km and 10km Night Runs on a cold, wet, dark and miserable evening. We had some amazing times with some of the newer Fit4life runners taking minutes of their best times and 2 ladies doing their first ever 5km non-stop. Congratulations everyone. Read more

Abbotstown National Even age XC championships summary

Comments Off on Abbotstown National Even age XC championships summary Uncategorized

Well done to all our athletes who took part in the Even Age group XC Championships in Abbotstown over the weekend. Once again, the standard was extremely high in all age groups and our young squad members performed admirably across the U12 & u14 categories…

In the U12 boys, the team of Sean O’Riagain, James Neary, Luke Moraghan, Daniel Schwer, Jack Fairmaner & Antoine Roquette all had good outings with Sean and James part of the Dublin team of six that just narrowly missed out on a County medal finishing in fourth place

In the U14’s, Lucy Schwer (Dublin team) was our sole representative in the girls race and put in a fine performance whilst Sam O’Kelly, James O’Brien, Oscar Canavan, Killian Curran, Robert O’Brien and Luke Fitzgerald represented the club in the boys U14 3k and once again the lads put in a strong showing.

Well done to all the athletes on some great performances during the XC season.

Next up is the National Uneven age group XC Championship in Waterford on December 17th.
