We were back to Tallaght on Sunday, June 13th for the second day of the Dublin Championships.
First up, Blackrock A.C. U14 Girls and Boys 80m. Representing our 2008 girls were Brianna, Alexandra, Emily, Grace and Matilda. All the girls ran fantastic heats and Alexandra and Brianna progressed through to the final taking silver and bronze respectively. It was great to see two of our girls receiving medals on the day and both will proceed to the Nationals in August.
Luong Haverty who is new to competing ran an impressive heat in the 80m.
Elsa stepped up to the U15 high jump and left the competition with a fabulous 1.4m jump.
Dublin Junior and Juvenile Track and Field Championships 2021
The afternoon brought our U13 girls to the track for the 80m. Chloe Cooper, Ava Clarke, Amy English, Alexandra Higgins, Kate Holland, Siun Hudner, Leah McHugh, Sophie McCann and Sophia Walsh. All of the girls ran great heats with Aela Kelly and Sophia Walsh progressing to the semi-finals.

Next up in the Dublin Championships is the 200m and 600m events on Friday, June 18th in Tallaght Stadium.
