The final official club engagement took place on Sunday in “the park” as Santa and the “Turkey” took centre stage at our Annual Turkey Trot run.
Lots of festivities, fun runs, goodies, raffle prizes, mince pies, mulled wine and as always a big thank you to the many volunteers that rolled up their sleeves to help out on the day.
We also presented Senior awards with Michaela Marnell picking up the “Outstanding performance(s) of the year” with her fine double All Ireland wins (60m & 200m) in both the Indoors & Outdoors. Congratulations Michaela.
Fit4Life coach Gerry Flaherty presented awards to the group which included athlete of the year awards for Patricia Forde & Joe Harvey. Congratulations to both winners.
