Athletes Born 2006 & Older and their Parents are invited to attend a talk on the Importance of Fitness for Teenagers and we would appreciate Full Attendance from these Age Groups 7:00pm Thurs 20 Sep in St. Andrews College Hall (No Training for Older Athletes).
Gerry Duffy
Gerry a famous endurance athlete, motivational speaker and author will give a talk. Gerry’s achievements in turning his life around are truly inspirational being most famous for running 32 marathons in 32 days and winner of the inaugural “Deca Ironman Crown” … an Ironman Triathlon 10 days in a row!
Tommy O’Brien
Tommy a fomer Blackrock A.C. juvenile member and current Captain of the U20 Irish Rugby team will be there too. A great opportunity to hear how Tommy juggles adding the role of Ireland Captain to an already hefty work-load: Leinster Academy, Ireland U20 & College Rugby along with an intense college course in UCD.
