We had 2 teams (Girls U12/ Boys U13) competing in last Sunday’s indoor National championships at Nenagh.

It was their first experience of the exciting atmosphere that accompanies this annual event and the standard of relay running on the day was exceptional.

Both of our teams performed very well and were close to running their PB’s. However neither team progressed to the finals but they should be proud of the effort and endeavour over the last few weeks in preparing for these events.

Our congratulations go out to St Mary’s AC and Menapians who won the girls/ boys races respectively. In the case of St Mary’s, they won in style setting a new indoor National record.

We would also like to thank the parents for their time and effort and valued support on the day.
