Well done to the 2008 group who fielded a super 7 relay teams for the interclub relay challenge, with our fastest boys’ team having a score of 15.04 and our fastest girls with a score of 15.17. This placed our girls in joint first place with Tullamore and the boys in second place to Lucan. Well done to all the athletes who competed for signing up and running to represent our club.

In the older category, we had talented runs by the teenagers with 7 teams competing. Lucan won the boys and girls relays, with the Blackrock girls’ team 3 finishing second with a time of 13.29. Our fastest boys’ team was 12.59 marginally pipped by Tullamore. Our fastest juvenile home was Liam Norton in a super 3.02 just pipping Robert O’Brien by 1 second. Holly O’Brien was the fastest girl with 3.12 with a fine performance from Natasha Armah Kwanteng at 3.18 also. Well done to all.
