The overall results came through last evening and we are delighted to announce that Isabel O’Brien and Denis Gilevskiy topped their U11 age groups over the four leagues/ weekends.
Well done to both of them on their achievements which included a host of first place finishes across a wide range of track events and also some great performances in the field events. Isabel and Denis are part of a very talented U11 group where Doug Walshe had a magnificent second place overall in the boys category and Sarah O’Brien an equally impressive third place overall in the girls category. Ciaran Patchell finished in sixth place overall and Daniel Mullane was in seventh position. Our boys team looks strong !! And a big congrats to Lucy Schwer who had a fine seventh place finish in the girls U11 category in her first season with the club. Laura Gallagher finished in fifth place overall in the Girls U12 and Annalie McMahon finished in seventh place overall in the girls U10. Well done Laura and Annalie
Congratulations also to the many other athletes who participated over the last four weekends with continuous improvements on a weekly basis.
A special mention to all the coaches who were working tirelessly in the background preparing the athletes for the various events at each competition and to the many parents who turned up in very indifferent weather conditions to support the athletes.
