It was another busy weekend for our Juvenile squad:

Sat 25th March- Wales: Sarah Healy was once again representing Ireland at the SIAB’s in Port Talbot, Wales in the Intermediate age group over 4610m. Sarah had a fine run finishing in 8th place against very strong competition and it rounds off another great XC season for her. Well done Sarah

Sat 25th March- AIT: Day 1 of the All Ireland Juvenile Indoors saw all three relay teams making the final with the girls U12 squad narrowly missing out on a top 3 finish.

The teams were:

• U12 Girls.  Annalie McMahon.  Libby O’Gorman. Ruby Mullen.  Grace O’Connor
• U12 Boys.  Sean O’Riagain. David Purcell. Peter Walshe.  Luke Moraghan.
• U13 Boys. Robert O’Brien, Killian Curran, Matthew Slevin, Shane van Zuydam

Well done to all three teams who are now ranked in the Top 6 in Ireland in each age category

Sunday 26th March- AIT: Emma O’Brien, Pappy Tucker and Robyn O’Brien were all in action over 60m with both girls performing well and reaching the finals against strong competition. Pappy narrowly missed out on the final finishing just outside the top 8 after the heats. Bobbi Gilespie (5th) and Isabel O’Brien both made their debuts in the U14 Walk at this level and performed very well. Well done to all the athletes on some great individual performances.
