Congratulations to all our athletes who took part in the first League XC race in Skerries back in mid September. We had some fine individual performances but also a great showing from the 35 + athletes who braved the difficult weather conditions. Well done again and a big thank you to all the coaches and supporters who were there to encourage them.

Congratulations to Lara Gilespie on her first Irish vest in mid September when she competed in the Home Countries Mountain run in the Lake District. A fitting end to a great season for Lara.

Lara along with Sarah Healy, Julie Ringrose and AmyRose Farrell were all selected for the Leinster Endurance Development Squad who will hold three workshops over the next six months. AmyRose Farrell is also part of the provisional National Junior Squad.

Well done again to all and to the many younger athletes flying the falg in Skerries. Next up is League 2 in the Phoenix Park!! The XC season is well and truly underway……..
