We had some fine performances over the last few weeks:

SIAB Schools International: Oisin Kelly (Newpark CS) rounded off a great season with a fine performance in the Schools International @ Santry. Oisin took the 1500m Steeplechase race out with his English counterparts and whilst he finished in the middle of the pack it was a fine way to sign off on a great season. Training partner Roisin Treacy (Ashford AC/ St Gerards) had a tremendous bronze medal in the girls 1500m Steeplechase.

In Tullamore we had some great performances from Pappy Tucker who won the U16 100m B championship and James O’Brien had a fine top 4 finish in the U14 800m in the same competition. Robyn O’Brien was 5th in the girls U18 100m whilst in the boys U13 our relay team just missed out on qualifying for final and both Anna McCarthy/ shot and Ciara Thornton/ Javelin performed very well.
