Once again we were on the road and this time it was to Finn Valley’s enviable set up in Donegal where our “Magnificent 7” did battle with some of Ireland’s finest young Athletes in the U9-11 age category.
It was a great day for our squad who gained a wealth of experience in a very competitive environment.
We were close to a top 3 with Sarah and Isabel O’Brien (not related) pipped for third place in the 60m team sprint by 0.08 of a second.
In all cases our athletes improved or matched their Dublin performances from a few weeks ago and coaches Paul O’Brien and Peter Cosgrove deserve great credit in capping off a fine Track season for these age groups.

– Tom Cosgrove and Barry Winters (60m)
– Doug Walshe and Barry Winters (Long Jump)
– Doug Walshe and Ciaran Patchell (Turbo Javelin)
– Daniel, Doug, Ciaran and Tom: Relay
