Blackrock A.C. Website

Over the past three months or so, the Blackrock A.C. website has been given a new look and feel. Our previous version served a good purpose over the past ten or so years. We would like to thank Gerry Cheung and other members who helped maintain up-to-date news and information over that time.  A lot has changed over the years, particularly with the rise and rise of mobile users to access information online. With this in mind, the new website has been designed and developed using the latest technologies and is fully responsive across all devices and web browsers.

Blackrock A.C. acknowledges that improving a website is not just about making it look nice, but understanding what you, the visitor needs and expects. Information should be easy to find, written in simple terms and answer the various questions you have. The website has been restructured with these factors in mind and will be built upon going forward. The news section will bring you the latest going on in athletics with the club and elsewhere. We also have a fixtures section for upcoming events and the latest results for all club activity. More will be added, however in the meantime, please feel free to browse the different menu and sub-menu items at the top of the website.

Social Media

Blackrock A.C. had previously set up a dedicated Flikr and Twitter account which we will be working on again and continue to build upon. In addition to this, we invite you to follow our new Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn pages. We strive to highlight the benefits of happiness, physical and mental health through athletics to all members of our community at different stages of their lives. Through social media, we aim to celebrate achievements at individual, group, team and club level.

Email

Emails have long been an important part of communication in Blackrock A.C. and will continue to do so. So whether you are in receipt of mail from F4L, Juvenile & Junior, Men or Women’s sections, this will continue. Some thought is going into more club-wide emails and we will update you further on this in due course.
