If I Continue To Work Hard I’ll Get To Where I Want To Be
This was the mantra Sarah Healy announced in an interview last year with her.ie. Fast forward a year-and-a-half and Sarah has now qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Sarah was a member of Blackrock Athletic Club from the age of 8 – 18 before going to University College Dublin.
After a series of brilliant performances in recent times, Sarah won the 1500 meter race with a personal best of 04:07:78 in Gothenburg.

Sarah recently claimed her first senior outdoor 1500m title with a brilliant performance in the national final which strengthened her Olympic qualification hopes.

At 20, Sarah will be the youngest member of the Irish Olympic team making their debut. A truly amazing achievement Sarah, well done!
