Sarah Healy (17 years old) continues to rewrite the history books in Irish Junior Athletics with another stunning performance, this time at the Belfast International on Tuesday evening (see event report here). In a high calibre 800m field, Sarah finished in second place and her time of 2.02.76 tops the European Junior rankings and smashes the previous best Irish U18/U20 records.

It’s been an outstanding few weeks for Sarah who tops the European rankings at U18/U20 age categories in both the 800m/1500m. She will now turn her attention to the European U18 Championships in Gyor which starts next week and she will be looking to add the European title to the EYOF title that she won last year at the same venue.
