The Leinster Schools XC took place in Santry yesterday with a good representation from the Club.

Sarah Healy (Holy Child Killiney) led the way with a commanding performance in the Inter girls 3500m, taking yet another Leinster title in tricky underfoot conditions. Well done to Sarah.
Lara Gilespie (Wesley College) was 17th in this race and was part of the Wesley team that took the team title. Julie Ringrose (Mount Anville) also ran well in this race. In the Minor Girls, Lucy Schwer (Holy Child Killiney) had a strong run as did Sarah Flaherty/ Aoife Linnane (both St Andrews) in the Junior girls race. Grace Manning (Holy Child Killiney) had a good run in the girls senior race. In the boys, Oisin Kelly (Newpark) had a fine run, finishing 4th in the Inter boys whilst Evan Walshe (St Benildus) had a strong run in the Junior boys.

Congratulations to all the athletes. Top 15 individual and top 3 teams go forward to National Schools in Mallusk on March 11th.
