In glorious sunshine, we enjoyed a fantastic day in Santry (on Saturday) where our athletes were reveling in the Team competition. Pride of place goes to Denis Gilevskiy who in the final race of the day overhauled a 15 metre deficit on the anchor leg to secure victory for the boys 4 x 100m U11 relay team. What a way to sign off on another great experience for the Blackrock young guns !! Well done to all our competitors and a big thank you for the large support on the day.
Congrats to Laura Gallagher on her individual victory in the girls U12 TJ on Saturday as well. Cara Brady also took part in this event.
