Well done to Michaela Marnell who secured a brilliant Double triumph over 60m and 200m at the Masters National Indoor Championships in Athlone on Saturday. It was her first outing for the club and she was competing in the M1 Category and rolled back the years with her fine displays in equally impressive times. On Sunday at  a very cold Raheny we had a small turn out due to the very indifferent weather conditions. Ellen Cheung was back competing for the first time in seven months and secured a very nice third place finish in a large field in the 12 years girls and boys 800m road race. Well done Ellen

The Thornton family also participated across the younger races and Barry Thornton, Patricia Forde (PB) and Gerry Flaherty competed in the 5k race. Well done to all and in particular to Patricia who is part of a growing Fit4LIFE group in the club.
