It will always be the highlight of our Calendar year…..
Over the weekend we hosted our Annual Invitational Sports day at Carysfort Park in glorious sunshine. With over 215 athletes taking part it was the perfect setting for family and friends to enjoy the festivities and races. The results were only secondary to an endless day of fun and laughter and we were joined once again by our close friends from Bray and Cabinteely Athletic Clubs and pupils from the surrounding primary schools.
In keeping with the “Gathering” theme of 2013 it was great to see so many past members looking on as an action packed day started with the Tiny Tots race.
With such large numbers in attendance we would like to thank all the volunteers for their efforts in helping to make this an occasion to remember. With over 500 parents and athletes at the event they were kept on their feet throughout the day in roles such as race stewards, serving refreshments and providing other goodies.
