The Schools XC season got underway earlier this month with the annual “Brother At your side” event at Santry Demense. In excess of 1400 athletes took part this year with some great performances from Sarah O’Brien (Mount Anville), Lina Kyne (Rathdown) and Louis Dignam (Willow Park).

Also, a big congratulations to Sarah Healy (Holy Child Kiliney/ Intermediate) and Denis Gilevskiy (St Brigids Cabinteely/ 6th class) on their first place finishes at this event.
