Teamwork at its finest as our #BlackrockAC Juvenile Cross Country athletes took on the Irelands best in the National Juvenile Even Age Cross Country Championships Groups this weekend in Gowran, Kilkenny.

It is a tough event to qualify for, and our athletes did us proud!

Congratulations to all the #BlackrockAC Juvenile Cross Country athletes who competed in Santry today. The athletes performed incredibly well bringing home both team and individual medals.

The conditions were perfect for cross country with blue skies and sunshine above, and loads of mud underfoot.

The October Bank Holiday weekend is synonymous wit

The October Bank Holiday weekend is synonymous with the Dublin Marathon and this year was a record for us being the second most represented club in Ireland.

On this one day a year, the spirit of #BlackrockAC comes alive. Members drag their families out to cheer on the runners, members compete with the best in Ireland, and many members achieve their lifetime goal; to run a marathon or get a pb.

The 2023 #IrishLifeDublinMarathon was going to be special and it did not disappoint. This was the biggest Dublin marathon ever. Following weeks and months of long runs in all weathers and banter, an amazing 85 runners from Blackrock A.C. crossed the Dublin Marathon finish line on Merrion Square.

This included 13 first-timers, Bryan Sheils doing his 100th, many people running their first or fastest-ever marathon with Grainne Grennan running first in her age category in the national championship. This is extraordinary and congratulations to everyone who took part.

A big thank you to all those who came out in the rain to offer the #PowerOfSupport on the runners. It was greatly appreciated by all the runners.
