We are not out of the woods yet but we’re heading in the right direction. Slipping into the turkey suit remains a non-runner due to Covid restrictions (Sorry Amanda). However, we are going ahead with the annual prize-giving element of our Turkey Trot this year.
Please Support Blood Bikes East
Another Covid casualty is our raffle of baked goods and tasty treats which cannot go-ahead for both safety and logistical reasons. This year instead we are asking our members to direct their generosity towards Blood Bikes East. Blood Bikes East offered incredible support to Samuel Roquette and his family during their time of need. Anyone that contributes will be entered into a draw with a chance to win Turkey & Ham, Restaurant and Lego vouchers.
Last Juvenile Training Session of 2021
The last juvenile training session will be held on Thursday 16th December in St. Andrews. Our prize-giving ceremony will take place on Sunday 19th December at 10am in Carysfort Park. We encourage all athletes, parents, coaches and volunteers to wear something festive, please.
There has been a significant push to get everyone back running since restrictions on outdoor activities were lifted. Over the past 18 months or so we have been competing wherever, whenever and in whatever conditions possible.
Thank You Volunteers!
As always, our volunteers and coaches have rallied together to ensure the safety of our athletes and the smooth running of the club. A big THANK YOU to every one of our volunteers who have made 2021 such a big success for the club and its athletes
Its registration time for 2022, please renew. We kindly request that you complete registration before we return to training in January. The first 200 in get a selection box at the Turkey Trot!
